Current Undergraduate Students
Upon earning your degree from the Marquette University and Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Department of Biomedical Engineering, your options are virtually limitless. Like the majority of alumni from our undergraduate program, you may join one of the many regional and national biomedical device companies, such as GE Healthcare, Medtronic, Siemens, Baxter, DePuy, Epic and Stryker in an engineering or leadership position. Or like other graduates, you may pursue graduate work at renowned institutions like Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, MIT or the Medical College of Wisconsin in medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, other health professions, law, engineering, or other graduate pursuits. No matter which path you choose, you will find that your education has empowered you to succeed at the highest level.
The new BME department provides you with access to MCW faculty for specialized courses, as well as summer medical research programs on campus. You will attend classes on the Marquette University campus, but you will begin to see opportunities to take elective courses with more clinical and research experiences starting in the 2017-18 school year on the MCW campus. Where will your biomedical engineering education take you?
