Dr. Brandon Tefft Elected to Chair of TERMIS TWIG
Dr. Brandon Tefft was recently elected to serve as Chair of the Cardiovascular/Angiogenesis/Blood Thematic Interest Working Group (TWIG) for the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS).
The Cardiovascular, angiogenesis, and blood TWIG is responsible for advocating for research and education related to cardiovascular, angiogenesis, and blood within the fields of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. The TWIG will also hosts sessions at the TERMIS-Americas Conference, an annual event that showcases innovations in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Other functions of the TWIG include reporting for the TERMIS newsletter, publishing review articles in the journal Tissue Engineering, and reporting yearly to the TERMIS Governing Board.
Dr. Tefft's recent appointment comes as the anticipated result of a two-year appointment where Dr. Tefft served as vice chair of the same group.

About Dr. Brandon Tefft
Dr. Brandon Tefft currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Marquette-MCW Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering and is the Director and Principal Investigator of the Cardiovascular Regenerative Engineering Laboratory (CaRE Lab) located in the Translational and Biomedical Research Center on the Medical College of Wisconsin Milwaukee campus.
