Stroke Rehabilitation Center of Southeast Wisconsin

The Stroke Rehabilitation Center of Southeastern Wisconsin (SRC) is a partnership of Marquette University and the Medical College of Wisconsin dedicated to improving stroke survivors' functional recovery, independence, and quality of life through research.

As stroke survival rates continue to rise, personalized rehabilitation may offer the best method for stroke survivors to overcome stroke-induced functional deficits. Limited access to rehabilitation can be a barrier to recovery among many stroke survivors. The SRC blends state-of-the-art interdisciplinary clinical programs and cutting edge research to optimize stroke survivors' functional recovery. The inclusion of stroke survivors, caregivers, and community stakeholders through our Community Academic Advisory Board (CAAB) guides our research to best meet the needs of stroke survivors and their loved ones.

Our goal is to be the destination of excellence for stroke rehabilitative care enhancing function, independence, and quality of life after stroke, led by collaborative research initiatives.
