Undergraduate Researcher Wins 2nd Place

BME undergraduate student, Marcus Weitekamper, won the 2nd-place poster award for the Research Support Staff category at the CVC Research Retreat held at MCW on Friday, October 18, 2019. Marcus’ poster was entitled, “Evaluation of Airway Mechanics in a Rat Model of Acute Lung Injury.”
Weitekamper was awarded an undergraduate fellowship for the project by the Opus College of Engineering. He is mentored by the project’s Primary Investigator, Dr. Said Audi.
