Biomedical Engineering Research Day, 2025

Aug 22, 2025

Grad students, BME undergrads and faculty are invited to join us for an exciting and impactful day of discovery, connection, and career growth at the 2025 Biomedical Engineering (BME) Research Day, scheduled for August 22, 2025!

What to Expect

On Biomedical Engineering Research Day, graduate students are invited to showcase their research during dynamic poster sessions, engage with faculty and peers across disciplines, and participate in hands-on professional development workshops designed to build real-world skills.

The day will kick off with a special welcome and keynote address by Dr. Hu Yang, our new Department Chair. In his address, Dr. Yang will share his bold vision for 2026, outline new directions for the department, and discuss how he sees graduate students shaping the future of biomedical engineering.

Graduate students are invited to cap off the day with a student social—network, relax, and celebrate the innovation happening in our BME community.
